Hometown: Azusa, CA / (Grew up in San Luis Obispo, CA) Family Info: I'm one of four children. My recently retired Dad spends most of his time on the golf course or reading books, while my Mom spends her time "cropping." My oldest sister is a photo journalist currently living in London, my older brother is studying Physical Therapy at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and my youngest brother is a broadway performer in NY. How did you become a part of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church? The Youth Pastor and I have a mutual friend that told me they were looking for someone to help out with leading worship. The rest is history. What is your role? By spending a lot of time rubbing my eyes in front of the computer, kicking the copy machine, and making weird drum noises during rehearsal, I work with our main campus worship band to lead the weekly services. What is your favorite part about your role? Working with a bunch of wonderful team members who know the importance of humor and the value of honesty.

Fun Stuff

If you were an animal what would you be? Probably a little yappy dog that everyone wants to shoot for making too much noise. What's the greatest invention in the last 50 years? Starbucks. What is your favorite place on earth? Wherever my close friends congregate in large numbers... this is usually the kiddy pool in Nate's backyard. What makes you laugh? My good friends Loren, Tyler, and Martha. I normally don't have to worry about an ab workout at the gym if I hang out with them for a long period of time. If you could have any super-power what would it be? Not needing sleep. There's too many fun things to do, and never enough time or energy to do them all!
