Lead Youth Worker
Hometown: Tustin, CA (Grew up in Moreno Valley, CA) Family Info: Unmarried How did you become a part of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church? In October 2009, I was hired as Lead Youth Worker. What is your role? I am the lead youth worker at our Northwood Church community. I am also present at both of our Northwood and Good Shepherd church communities during the week at youth group meetings. My main duties are planning, discipling, teaching, and pastoring both Junior High and High School students and families. What is your favorite part about your role? Seeing God change and redeem the lives of youth and families for the purposes of his Kingdom and Glory.
Fun Stuff
If you were an animal what would you be? Killer Whale! Why? Shamu….need I say more? What's the greatest invention in the last 50 years? The Ipod/MP3 player for sure! Being a big music guy and having over 16GB of music in one place for your listening pleasure is amazing. What is your favorite place on earth? Pipes Café after a morning surf session with good people, great breakfast, and better coffee. What makes you laugh? Watching students try to pull off crazy things (of course with adult supervision) like, seeing how many Cheetos they can put in, on, or over their faces or putting their heads in 5 gallon ice cream jugs still full of ice cream. If you could have any super-power what would it be? Teleportation for sure, other than the fact that nightcrawler is amazing and the opening scene to X-men II is amazing, I think it would be cool to just think of any place in the world and instantly be there.
