Congregational Life
Our Congregational Life Ministry offers opportunities for our church members and friends to enrich and deepen relationships with one another. Did you know that there are hundreds of “one anothers” mentioned in the Bible? Our God is a very relational God and it is His heart that we are in relationships with one another. The goal of our Congregational Life Team is to welcome, develop, and enrich each individual’s participation in the church community, and to provide a welcoming, friendly, and exciting environment on Sunday mornings.

Join the Worship Band
Our Contemporary Worship services (9:30am and 11am) at our Main Campus are led by our Worship Band, and are directed by Daniel Northington. Here is Daniel’s vision for the team:
“Our worship ministry at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church desires to be a group of musicians who are passionate about leading others into meaningful experiences with Jesus Christ. Through a commitment to musical excellence and relational investment, we desire to build a cohesive team of lead worshippers.”
If you would like more information about this ministry or are interested in joining our team, please contact Daniel for audition information and materials.
Join the Audio/Visual Production Team
There are many ways to get involved behind the scenes on our A/V team, from running lyrics and sound on Sunday Mornings to filming and editing videos for the church. Experience is helpful but not necessary. We will train you! The production team is more about just pushing buttons and turning knobs; it is about using the gifts God has given us to minister to those around us. Please talk to Josh at the sound booth on Sunday Mornings or email him (josh@gslcirvine.org) if you’re interested in joining the A/V team!
