Discipleship Development
Jesus says "Follow Me" - A disciple is one who follows Him
Starting October 12th we will be beginning quarterly Discipleship Development classes. The Goal of these classes will be to help us personally develop as disciples and equip us to disciple others. They will also serve to equip and train Small Group Leaders as well as allow long time leaders to be renewed and refreshed. And, they will be much more. Anyone who would like to grow as a follower of Christ is welcomed and encouraged to join us!
Coming in January will be a 5 week Small Group Series entitled “Going Deeper” and we have a dream of seeing everyone in a small group for this series. The time to start growing is now! Join us for these times of growing in Christ and consider and pray about leading or being in a small group.

January 4th - The GROW of Discipleship
February 22nd - The SHOW of Discipleship
All starting at 12:15 in the Discovery Room of Fellowship Hall.

Getting the Basics
Sunday, October 19, 2:00-5:45 pm / Parish Hall at GSLC
This class is a basic introduction to our church family designed to clearly explain who we are and what our church is about. Having completed this class, you will be given an opportunity to become a member of the church family and join on Sunday, October 26 at 9:30am. Please call the church office to RSVP.

Altar Flower Sponsors
We have posted the 2008 Altar Flower Chart for GSLC-South (in the narthex) and the 2008 Altar Flower Notebook for GSLC-Northwood (at the information table). If you would like to sponsor a flower arrangement for a Sunday this year, please sign up today! It’s a great way to celebrate a special occasion or remember a loved one. The cost is $38 per bouquet. On your weekend, you may take home the flowers following the last service on Sunday, or donate them to hospital patients or others visited by the church staff the following week.
Chancel Choir
If you would like to join the Chancel Choir, our weekly rehearsals are Wednesdays, 7:30-9:00 p.m., in the Sanctuary. We sing every Sunday at the 8 a.m. service, and every other Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
